A small shop, built in school hours.
Every weekday at 8:45 in the morning, the front door closes and the house goes quiet. This shop lives in those hours — the ones between morning drop-off and afternoon pick-up — strung one bead at a time, with coffee that is occasionally still hot.
I was a bead-hoarder long before I was a shopkeeper, and I still string at my own desk every day. Motherhood comes with enough instructions; this is the part of the day with none. Just you, a strand, and whatever you decide it becomes.
We stay deliberately small, on purpose: small batches, hand-checked kits, and packaging that won’t outlive the fun — kraft mailers, paper tape, zero plastic.
